This year we wanted to show our appreciation to our clients who have proven their commitment to engaging and creating job opportunities for Indigenous employment. We developed an award to do just that – Intract’s Inaugural NAIDOC Award.
During NAIDOC Week (2nd – 9th of July) Intract presented a Certificate of Recognition to the four runner-ups as part of Intract’s Inaugural NAIDOC Awards. The four nominees included:
Aurecon – Gemma Wood – Project Manager
JLL – Daniel Zmau Project Manager
Defence Housing Australia – Project Manager – Property Provisioning Group
Lend Lease – The Certificate was presented at the Northern Connector Hub as John Briggs handed the Certificate to Danny Parkinson – Project Director at the Northern Connector Project and George Panangopoulos – Project Manager at the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI).
Thank you to all the companies that support us in our endeavours to create more job opportunities for Indigenous Australians and we look forward to continuing our work with you in the future.
