Business Development Manager

Luke is a Ngarrindjeri and Kaurna man from South Australia and joined Intract as an Estimator in 2019 following the completion of his MBA and experience working with Indigenous businesses and organisations such as iDiC, IBA and various state government departments. In recent years, he has worked to develop and link Indigenous businesses with major corporations and the Defence industry.

He also ran his own company ‘turu-itj consulting’, which assisted non-Indigenous business with cultural competency training and development.

Luke has been involved in the Defence sector for several years, working in project management and assisting Defence Primes procuring through Indigenous businesses.

His focus is now on helping grow Intract nationally, working to win business across our operations. In 2023, Luke won the Indigenous Defence Leader of the Year award for his efforts towards Indigenous engagement in Defence.
