John Briggs, General Manager of Intract Southern Australia is involved with the Governors Aboriginal Employment Infrastructure Cluster and meet every two months, discussing ways to create more opportunities for Aboriginal school students and employees.<\/p>\n
The Department of State Development manages the Aboriginal Employment Industry Clusters Program, providing strategic leadership and oversight as well as executive, project management and administrative support.<\/p>\n
The program is employer led with the purpose being to increase the number of Aboriginal people employed and retained in identified industries. It facilitates systematic change in participating industries and employers, resulting in an increase in the recruitment and retention of Aboriginal people in employment.<\/p>\n
