Intract operates from 13 offices in South Australia, Western Australia, Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Northern Territory, shared with McMahon Services.
We have delivered projects in most states and territories of Australia including in regional outback locations, remote deserts and islands to rural and urban environments including congested worksites in the central business districts of our major capital cities.
Intract and McMahon Services have the advantage of working together to form a unified network across the country. This gives each company the ability to share and mobilise plant, equipment, and personnel when required to even the most remote locations when needed.
Our facilities include a national network of offices, workshops, storage facilities, laydown areas, accommodation blocks and weighbridges. The people we employee in each region are local people engaged with and contributing to the communities they live in.
Our Dry Creek facility includes a full fabrication yard dedicated to the development and advancement of custom-made construction equipment, a fully-equipped plant maintenance yard, mechanical, metal fabrication, cranage and rigging workshops, a weighbridge, a wash-down area and extensive warehousing and maintenance facilities.
The northern regions of the state are supported by our Whyalla and Port Pirie offices each equipped with their own workshops, accommodation blocks, plant storage areas, laydown and storage facilities.
We have worked right across the Northern Territory for a variety of resource, commercial, industrial and government clients. Our State office was established in Darwin in 2004 and was latter supported by regional offices in Alice Springs and Katherine. Our facilities include mechanical workshops, warehouse and storage facilities, accommodation blocks and laydown yards. We also manage two offices in Western Arnhem Land at Maningrida and Gunbalanya that are fully operated and resourced by local Indigenous people.
Our Melbourne office supports projects undertaken across the states of Victoria and Tasmania. Local facilities include offices, storage facilities, and laydown yards.
New South Wales
Our Sydney office supports projects undertaken across New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory. Local facilities include offices, storage facilities, and laydown yards.
We first established a Queensland office in Brisbane in 1995 and have been servicing the state ever since. Local facilities include warehouse, workshops, storage facilities and laydown yards. Today our teams work from offices in Brisbane, Gladstone and Townsville and our work has taken us from the tropical far north, the dry outback and to islands off the coast, working in the dry, wet, humidity and heat.
The west is supported by our Perth and Karratha offices. In 2012, we established a new state of the art facility in Karratha’s Gap Ridge Industrial Estate which features offices, a mechanical workshop, storage facilities, an accommodation block, a laydown area, a weighbridge and an extensive fleet of plant and equipment.
